JJ Abrams Gives Some Info on Star Trek 2

MTV’s Jos Horowitz interviewed JJ Abrams on Star Trek 2, among other things, and he got a surprising answer. Initially, we were told that Star Trek 2 will be shot in native 3-D, however, according to Abrams in this interview, Star Trek 2 will be shot in 2-D and be converted to 3-D. I’m sure James Cameron is cringing right now.  The conversion will focus on IMAX 3-D theaters. As long as they take their time, as Abrams mentioned in this interview that they would, then it might work out.

Check out the interview. What do you think?
